It’s Pimpin’ April Don’t be fooled this month with Punchline’s spate of releases, they’re both a little magical and very American. Rolling Stone has listed Katt Williams as “one of Hollywood’s most sought after comedians,” and Australia now has a chance to own some of his finest work on DVD. Pimp Chronicles Part 1 showcases his flashy, sassy, streetwise style in his first foray onto DVD. It’s Pimpin’ Pimpin’ covers everything from politics, religion, relationships and current events while American Hustle: The Movie is Katt’s unique take on a wild cross-country comedy tour taken with his pals Luenell, Red Grant and Melanie Comarcho. Close friend Snoop Dogg is dotted through-out the releases while Ludicrous, Lil’ Wayne and Jeremy Piven also sneak in for cameo appearances.
Mitch Fatel, currently in Australia touring, makes his debut on DVD with Mitch Fatel is Magical. One can easily be lulled into a false sense of sweetness by Mitch’s angelic smile and innocent voice, which only serve to distract from the fact that his lewd mind is focused on one thing only: girls. Whether he’s lamenting the declining popularity of one of his favourite sexual pastimes or simply waxing poetic about his love for certain female body parts, one cannot help but find oneself laughing hysterically and agreeing with his unique and intelligently written analysis. See him touring at the Melbourne and Sydney Comedy Festivals.
